This locally well-known building was originally used as a Fraternal Lodge for the Lions and is currently owned by the Village of Midlothian. The Raday Lodge was dedicated in the name of long-time leader of Midlothian, Mayor Harry Raday. Many generations experienced weddings, graduations, christenings, sports Banquets, Senior Luncheons, among other festivities brought by both the Village of Midlothian and the Midlothian Park District for nearly 70 years! The building features a banquet room floor of 44' x 40' and can easily accommodate up to 200 guests. There is a 6' x 40' stage, and a 18' x 40' dance floor. The Hall features newer lighting, carpeting, vinyl flooring, and a fireplace centerpiece for accent. The bar area is 11' x 8' and the Kitchen space is 21' x 18'. The kitchen is wired with 400-amp service for all cooking equipment along with the Ansul System for fire protection. There are two main floor storage spaces, along with an unfinished basement for even more storage. The building is complete with an office space, Receiving area, and ample washroom space for both men and women. Taxes are currently at zero due to being owned by the municipality. 24 hours' notice please for all showings.
