We started this journey on January 7^th, 2011 and ended it on January 6^th, 2012. And in the end, I could not be happier with the home we found, the rate we got, the mortgage team we used, Lisa Raimondi on closing day, and all the others like Jen and Annie that helped along the way and most importantly, all the help and time that Hasani put into this for us. All the showings, all the time we spent in cars going from one place to another. All the laughs we shared in homes that smelled like rotten people, rotten cigarette smoke, kitchens that were from the Paleolithic Era….etc.

“Hello and Hi,

My name is Thelma Parks and in 2010 I purchased a property at 11536 South Eggleston Ave. here in Chicago.  I am very pleased and delighted with the rehab work that was initiated by Mr. Steele on this property.  I am also aware that it was one of the properties to win the 2011 Good Neighbor Award.

I don’t know if any of you are familiar with this area “Roseland” it could be very depressing but I guarantee you that this property has been like a beacon light especially on this block of 115th on Eggleston Ave.  People stop in front of the house (either when they are walking or driving) to look at it in awe of how beautiful it looks  (almost like a diamond in the rough).  Last week we called the fire department to come out and check out our smoke detectors because they kept going off and saying carbon monoxide warning.  Well, it turned out that we needed a new battery in one detector but the firemen were so impressed with the house that we ended up giving them a tour.  They were impressed!!  Everyone who comes into the house just open their eyes in astonishment and once given a tour they are amazed!  Who would have ever thought to see a house this beautiful in Roseland.

I thank Mr. Steele and all who had anything to do with the rehabbing of this property.  This is truly a work of excellence.  I thank God for His timing because I had been looking for a house, in Roseland, for over 10 years.  I ventured out into the suburbs but nothing materialized after I was ready to put an offer on at least 3 properties prior to this one.  I am right down the street from my mom and dad who are in their 80′s and still live in their home 11340 S. Eggleston.  I can easily walk down the street and visit them or they can come down here and visit me.
